Elvis aveva una relazione con Marvin GEE GEE Gambill perché Elvis era omosessuale e Jerry era gelosissimo della posizione di Marvin nella squadra di Elvis. Per guastare la festa a Marvin , Jerry raccontò tutto a Priscilla che stava per essere cacciata definitivamente da Graceland. Se Elvis non avesse sposato Priscilla lei avrebbe raccontato tutto ai giornali coinvolgendo Patsy cugina di Elvis e moglie di Marvin. Elvis sposò Priscilla per salvare la cugina .Jerry ha continuato a fare il Giuda a dare tutte le informazioni che servivano a Priscilla. Jerry dopo la morte di Elvis entrò nella camera da letto per aiutare Priscilla contro Ginger Alden. Jerry Schilling wrote a book supposedly about Elvis but it is actually more all about himself. Plus he whitewashes the truth about Elvis in some misguided belief that he should protect his image. But knowing the truth about how much Elvis suffered and his terrible decline brings us the REAL Elvis -- a man and an artist who suffered terribly for their art. Give Jerry´s book a pass -- you get no sense of Elvis the man and a lot about Jerry´s life who was not a legendary figure so who cares. The great book on Elvis is the oral history by Alanna Nash -- a brilliant book in which Billy Smith, the cousin of Elvis, gives such deeply moving testimony that it makes one weep. Schilling´s book is a dull document of happy talk.

What Jim played on Steely Dan's "Rikki Don't Lose That Number", was done in one take! The fact that Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, "known for never settling for anything less than perfection" were pleased, speaks volumes... Jim was truly amazing. Definitely looking forward to reading this book.
